Daredevil and the Punisher Face-Off in New Trailer

Last year, we saw what was perhaps one of the best comic book adaptations ever in Netflix Daredevil. Those who have not seen it yet are missing something truly spectacular and it would be worth a Netflix subscription for Daredevil alone. Season 1 saw Matt Murdock (Charlie Cox) embracing his inner devil, taking on his arch-nemesis Wilson Fisk aka Kingpin. Season 2 is just around the corner and we have the first full trailer for it. Check it out below.

Let’s not deny it. That was one awesome trailer! Season 2 brings back (of course) Daredevil and his allies, best friend/partner Foggy, and Karen. But the focus of Season 2 was always going to be on a new character and anti-hero, the Punisher, played by Jon Bernthal. Yes, the Punisher is in Hell’s Kitchen and is ready to take crime fighting in his own, brutal hands. Oh, and let’s not forget Matt’s love interest Elektra right at the end.

Now, given the difference of ideologies when it comes to superheroes, a face-off is imminent. 2016 is the year where Batman faces off against Superman, Captain America takes on Iron Man, and now Daredevil will go against the Punisher to prove just how much protecting Hell’s Kitchen matters to them. And it all goes down starting March 18 on Netflix.
