Warner Bros. to Release 35 Movies in 4K Display This Year
The newest milestone of the visual entertainment industry is 4K display and it is now being made part of their ventures in a major way by many production houses. The latest name in this list is Warner Bros. Reportedly, the production house is going to release 35 movies in 4K display by the end of 2016.
The first installment would consist of four movies, which include The Lego Movie and Mad Max: Fury Road. This move by Warner Bros’ just ahead of the CES ’16 is significant because the latter would further determine the future of home entertainment.
Sony is in league with Warner Bros. as it also plans to release its own titles like The Amazing Spider Man 2 in 4K display in the first half of 2016. Last year, we saw Samsung joining forces with Fox at IFA, Berlin as it introduced movies like Maze Runner and Fantastic Four in 4K display. Now more names have followed suit.
This is indeed a big leap for the visual entertainment industry and audiences can definitely expect a better viewing experience with so many popular culture movies being offered in 4K display. Looks like 2016 has a great treat in store for all film-lovers.
