Yeezy Season One : Kanye West Collaborates with Adidas Originals

Kanye Omari West, or more popularly known as Kanye West, is an American rapper, record producer, director, entrepreneur, and most recently, a fashion designer.

Adidas and Kanye West collaborated in a new shoe deal which was closed for a reportedly $10 million. In 2015, the new Adidas footwear debuted in the New York Fashion Week with a front row of a star-studded audience which included Rihanna, Diddy, Jay-Z, Beyonce, Anna Wintour, Kim Kardashian West, etc. The presentation introduced a new sneaker by West that had created a sensation of the Internet – a gray high-top with a curvy chunky sole – and woven low top sneakers for men and suede stilettos and platform snow boots for women.

West began his first step towards the fashion industry in September 2005, when he announced that he will be releasing his Pastelle Clothing line in the spring of 2006. ‘Now that I have a Grammy under my belt and Late Registration is now under my belt, I will be launching my clothing line next spring.’ Sadly, the line discontinued in 2009, two days after the photos of his fashion line was posted on the Internet.

In 2009, West had collaborated with Nike to release his own Air Yeezy shoe. In the same year, he worked with Louis Vuitton where he launched his first shoe line during the Paris Fashion Week. Kanye West also designed for shoe brands like Bape and the Italian shoe giant, Giuseppe Zanotti. In 2011, Kanye brought to the light his line of Women Wear at the Paris Fashion Week, DW Kanye West.
