The 5 Worst Bollywood Movies to Make it To The 100 Crore Club
The 100 crore club in Bollywood today has become a laughing matter. We have seen absolutely disastrous movies make it to this “prestigious” list.
We have compiled a list of the Top 5 most unwatchable movies of Bollywood in 2013 which made it there:
5. Chennai Express
Lungi dance might be the only good thing that came out of this movie
After making an inspirational movie like Singham, Rohit Shetty’s Chennai Express was one of the many disappointing movies of 2013. Starring Shah Rukh Khan and Deepika Padukone, this movie contains exaggerated fight sequences and a forgettable story line. This movie collected over 200 crore and reached the 100 crore mark in just 3 days. Unbelievable!
4. Grand Masti
The Great Indian Comedy Disaster
Another movie that hit the 100 crore mark in 2013 was the “attempted” comedy of Grand Masti. Warning: Don’t go in to watch a sex comedy and come out complaining that it had too many dirty jokes. That’s like going to the beach and grumbling about the sand. Occasionally you may find a funny joke sandwiched between the 100 lame jokes. Overall a vulgar movie, but too silly to categorize as an ‘adult comedy’.
3. Krrish 3
Triple Threat: Horrible Acting, Direction and Plot
As far as Indian Superhero’s go, Krrish is probably the first movie that comes to mind. However this movie, starring Hritik Roshan and directed by his father Rakesh Roshan, is heartbreakingly unoriginal. It made an undeserving 200 crore+ at the Bollywood box office; money which could have been better spent to feed the population of our country. For a director who aims at perfection in every movie, this was definitely not one of them.
2. Jai Ho
Shirtless Salman? Oh, yes!
There will be a day in the near future where Salman Khan will just stand motionlessly on-screen and that movie will make 100 crores as well. Like his last five movies Jai Ho is yet another stereotypical ‘Salman Khan’ film, with a beautiful heroine, a fierce antagonist and of course, a shirtless fight incident. Today there are three types of movies – a good movie, a great movie and Salman Khan movie.
1. Housefull 2
Twice the torture
A witty man off-screen, Sajid Khan is unable to replicate his comedy onto the big screen. Though the movie made 100+ crore, the plot was painstakingly unamusing and the humour ..oh wait! there was none. The huge cast starring some big names just didn’t combine well together. They managed to create an environment which was far from comical.
if you didnt like grand masti..well youre a wannabe hollywood movie buff…stick to watching those boring superhero crap and a half nude miley cyrus..oh wait..these days youll call that music..
